Our journey began with a renovation project of our very own. In 2015, we bought a small, one-bedroom, single-storey end-of-terrace home in Portishead. It had been on the market for a while, and to some, it looked like far too much work — one friend even joked that we’d bought the neighbour’s garage. But we saw the potential straight away.

With Jodi’s vision for what the property could become, and Royce’s skills in carpentry and building, we set about transforming it into a spacious, stylish family home. We added a full two-storey extension, built a welcoming front porch, landscaped the garden, and constructed a large summerhouse and shed. Every stage was completed with our own hands, from planning and design to the finishing touches.

That experience was more than just a home improvement project. It gave us a deep understanding of what it’s like to be in our clients’ position — balancing budgets, making design decisions, and living through the disruption of building work. It taught us the value of clear communication, careful planning, and reliable craftsmanship.

Today, those lessons shape every project we take on. Whether it’s a bespoke kitchen, a loft conversion, or one of the many house extensions, we bring the same passion, attention to detail, and personal commitment we gave to our own home.
